Joyce Tenneson is an American Photographer. In her book, Flower Portraits, she talks about her background with flowers. Originally, she started photographing women in their their third phase of life. After uncovering that information, she decided to take photos of flowers in different stages of their lives. She says there is beauty in every phase of life, and that is shown through her photographs. All of her photographs are very similar. All the flowers are different, but they all have the same monochromatic color scheme. They are also all on a black background, which makes the flowers pop. All the flowers have extreme detail. These photographs belong to Joyce Tenneson, because all of them are very similar, yet very different. Each one had the same color scheme, but a different angle at which the flower is photographed at. Some pictures just have the petals of the flower, some are crushed up flowers, and others are full blooming flowers. Either way, we are still able to know that Joyce Tenneson photographed all of them.

Henry Wessel’s Odd Photos book is definitely odd. What makes his photographs so special is that he adds a distinct touch to each photo. Your eye really needs to look at the photograph for a little bit to see the distinct touch. For example, on the over of his book, there is an ordinary house with a bush next to the garage. As you look at it more and more, you re able to see that a part of the bush is cut out and replaced with a shadow of what would be there. These small, odd touches help to enhance his photographs. All his photos are in black and white as well.

Annie Leibovitz is a famous modern American portrait photographer. She takes photographs of celebrities in their element. She has worked for companies such as Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair. Her style includes good lighting and detailed pictures. She has taken photographs of Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg, Sylvester Stallone, Caitlyn Jenner, and Keith Haring, just to name a few. Her photographs are in color as well. Also, Annie’s photographs have been on covers of various magazines.
