Julie Xiong Style Assignment

Hansjörg Mayer is a Germany photographer whose interests are in structures and surfaces. He uses light digital cameras and smartphones as his photographing tools so all his photos are not high quality. They are all grainy and blurry. The objects in his images are mostly interesting surface textures of roads, rocks, tree, random objects. He likes to play with lights, reflections and colors. He loves pictures that were taken by coincidence and accident; he doesn’t want perfect images and I’d love to call his images “snapshots”. Also, it appears that the two pictures that are on the same page are either picture of the same thing or images that are associated.  He seems to have been travelled to different countries because he included some images of Buddha sculptures and some exotic objects in this collection.
